The Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department serves a population of approximately 13,000 residents, in 36.6 square miles. The Department, headed by Fire Chief Michael O. Williams, consists of 37 dedicated members and operating from two stations. 
The James H. Oliver Safety Center, is located at 15 Legends Drive. The Safety Center houses Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department's Station 2, Administrative Offices, Fire Prevention Division, the Hooksett Police Department and Hooksett's Emergency Operations Center.
Administrative hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Located at 1 Riverside Street in the "Village" section of Hooksett, Station 1 was built in 1991 replacing the previous station that was on the site.
