Department Personnel

The Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department Administration consists of three
Chief Officers, Captain/Fire Inspector, and two Administrative Assistants.
The Department's administrative offices are staffed
Monday through Friday from 0800 hours to 1600 hours
for normal department business such as scheduling fire inspections,
filing permit applications, or requesting a copy of an incident report.

Group 1

The Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department is staffed for emergency responses
24 hours per day, seven days per week.
A minimum of 1 fire officer and 2-3 firefighters are assigned
to each station, supported by off-duty firefighters and
call company personnel should they be called.

Firefighters are assigned to four different work groups,
and work a rotating schedule of 24-hour shifts,
averaging 42 hours worked each week.
