Department Profile
The Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department serves a population of approximately 12,000 residents, in 36.6 square miles. The Department, headed by Fire Chief Michael O. Williams, consists of 36 members and operates from two stations strategically located in town. The Hooksett Safety Center, Station 2, is the central fire station and houses both Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department's Administrative Offices and the Hooksett Police Department, as well as the Town's Emergency Operations Center. Station 1 serves the north and west sides of the Hooksett.

Both stations are staffed 24 hours a day with 1 Fire Officer and 2 firefighters at each stroximately 2,000 emergency calls for assistance each year, consisting of reported fires, medical assistance, motor vehicle accidents, technical rescues, hazardous material incidents, water rescues, and other calls for service.
